Diego is concerned for the safety of Maria as she unwittingly offers to help Alfredo in his scientific work outside of the classroom. <P> Alfredo’s twin brother, Augusto, uses his Nanites (microscopic robots) to infect Zorro’s high tech equipment leaving Zorro to find low-tech solutions as he and Scarlet Whip battle a crime spree by the Mayor’s thugs and attempt to thwart Augusto’s evil plans. Bernardo struggles to concoct countermeasures to help Zorro. <P> Another family connection poses serious problems for Zorro and Scarlet Whip as mother and son Gloria and Jack Sheffield are persuaded by the Mayor to relocate the headquarters of their business, Sheffield Industries, to Pueblo Grande.<br> However the devious Gloria Sheffield has plans of her own and stands against him for election as Mayor aided by her son Jack.
